Authentic Japanese License Plate

No fake plates here!

Many plates have large holes drilled on the top left side (from removing the prefecture seal) preventing re-use, once they leave Japan…these do not! Ready to mount to your JDM vehicle, or your USDM vehicle, with a Kokoro Garage license plate adapter.

48-81 plates: Yokohama

81-21 plate: Shōnan (along the coast of Sagami Bay in Kanagawa)

19-35 plates: Sagami

For the nerds (like me): plates with a 5xx numbers in the top right are typically for private vehicles between 661-2000cc AND narrower than 1.7m/5.57ft; 3x numbers indicate larger than 2000cc and/or a car wider than the 5xx restrictions (like my Altezza…1998 CC but wider than 5xx series = 3x plate needed)
